Was blown away by the visual effects of AVATAR this weekend ! It’s amazing how far the field of Animation has advanced! It made me wonder ….. just what goes into creating Animation films of this caliber. What’s the technology behind the screen? What computer software programmes facilitate animation experts in designing and creating movies???….. So I was browsing the Internet and came across this incredible video on the latest animation related computer programme ALICE that makes programming for animation as simple as clicking and dragging…. Check it out! Alice is an innovative 3D programming environment that makes it easy to create an animation for telling a story, playing an interactive game, or a video to share on the web. Alice is a freely available teaching tool designed to be a student’s first exposure to object-oriented programming.
